1973 Dodge Challenger

1973 Dodge Challenger

"Day Two Look"

This described a car that was purchased new and immediately upgraded and customized by the new owner.  A highly sought after version of the original style car.  You're in the right place.

California car until 2014 when it was brought to Maine.  High impact "Plum Crazy" paint laid over a California body.  16" American Racing, mag wheels.  Ensuring you will stand out from the crowd.

If the looks fail to impress, the sound will fill the void.  A recently built 360ci V8 "SixPack" 3 Holley 2bbl carbs lurks under the hood.  Full welded dual exhaust with full length Hooker Super Comp headers, X-pipe,  Magnaflow mufflers, and factory style tig welded stainless steel exhaust tips.  Nice lumpy cam ensures the exhaust sound WILL part the crowd and turn heads.  Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads, MSD 6A Ignition, MOPAR aluminum six barrel manifold, roller rockers, Miloden 7qt oil pan.  Not only does it sound healthy, it WILL get up and go.  A 26" BeCool aluminum radiator will ensure that its properly cooled to do it again and again.

Power Steering with new steering box, tight as a brand new car.   Power Factory front disc brakes and upgraded rear disc brakes, both with upgraded drilled and slotted rotors.  Front and rear sway bar have been added.  Properly built 904 automatic transmission has a 2500 stall converter and a shift kit.  The 8 3/4 Sure-Grip has a fresh rebuild with 3.55 gears, Mosher axles, and "green" bearings.

Factory console features a "pistol grip" automatic shifter.  Bucket seats.   All gauges function.  A brand new replacement factory dash pad (a/c) has been installed.  Factory tinted glass.  Original A/C car is missing its underhood components.  A very nice and tidy interior overall.

The undercarriage is what you would expect from a lifelong California vehicle.  It is in excellent original condition.  "Typical" rust is not a problem here.  Panels all appear to be factory original.  Subframes, torsion bar mounts, floors, trunk, rocker panels, etc are all in excellent condition.  Being an older paint job, there are rock chips, dings, and scratches.  Overall appearance is very good.

Ensured to produce smiles per gallon.
